Bio

Yang Wang was born in Zhejiang Province,  China. He obtained his B.S. and M.S. degree from Northwestern Polytecnical University (NPU) and University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) in 2010 and 2013, respectively. Then, he earned his Ph.D. degree in 2017 at Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo Tech) under the supervision of Prof. Tsuyoshi Michinobu. After 2 years' postdoc training at Tokyo Tech, he moved to Takimiya lab at RIKEN as a JSPS Fellow. His research is focusing on the design and synthesis of conjugated polymers for organic thin film transistor, organic solar cells, perovskite solar cells and thermoelectric applications.
